Question about Ground Controls and Perch wrench
Now that's it's winter I've raised my car pretty much back to stock height. The front is at stock height and I can raise it a little bit more, but the rear needs to come up a bit.
I remember someone saying that you can get a perch wrench at the hardware store, is this true, if not I'll just call GC.
But does anyone have tips on how to raise the perch up when the spring is compressed against it without a perch wrench?

The perch wrench that loosens the perch is an allen wrench. That can be bought
at any hardware store. Try having someone push down on the wheel while raising
the perch. It will give you a lil bit more preload. Hope I helped any.

Did you already have someone stand on the wheel while you move the perch up? After you've exhausted that method pick up a perch adjuster for the Skunk2's, that's what I use on my GC's and it's perfect. I think Snap-On makes a wrench that fits just as well at double the price.
Park crooked on a driveway apron to get most of the weight off of the rear tire, like a pissing dog stance, you may need to help the car a little bit by pushing it up.
You don't need a wrench.
You don't need a wrench.
Actually you dont need a wrench, you can just turn it by hand. Dont raise one wheel off the ground. If your gonna raise the rear then lift both rear tires off the ground then the perch will be much easier to turn.

lift both sides and you should be able to raise it all the way.

awwwww, you guys don't understand I already raised the rear off the ground and turn the perch as far up as it would go until the spring stop me due to it compressing.
Ok take this picture for example notice how the spring is already compressed, I want to raise that perch up farther, but i can't becuase the compression of the spring is so great that hands won't do the job, I need a tool.

Also don't forget an alignment, as your toe-in is now out-of-spec from changing the ride height.
The tool you are looking for is called a spanner wrench. They come in different sizes and there are universal ones that adjust like a crescent wrench. These are some more expensive ones, just visit your local industrial supply store and they should have some cheap ones.

So where can I get a Skunk2 wrench from. And when someone said industrial supply store did the mean hardware store, i.e. Home Depot.
