Car: 1997 DX Coupe 5 speed
So my sunroof in my dx doesn't work at all (sunroof button type thing does nothing when pressed). I have no idea where to start looking for possible issues. Just wanted to see if anyone knew some common problems to give me a start as to where to look. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

The motor is probably dead, but the first thing I'd check would just be the switch itself since it's super easy to access. Just make sure it's a good connection and everything's clean, check it with a voltometer if you have one I suppose.

The motor can be accessed pretty easily by dropping the front half of the headliner. It's most likely dead. While up there take a look at the springs and make sure they aren't rusted or locked up.

 

Start with the EASIEST step. check your fuse.
