I have a 2000 cr-v with a manual Trans and im having big problems finding the left front engine mount that mounts onto the fenderwell, all my local parts stores sell a mount supposedly for the manual but the top stud that the aluminum bracket goes to id 3/4 of an inch long and mine is 1&1/2 inches long, can i switch out the aluminum bracket from the mount to the block with the steel one that the automatic has,
The automatic has a steel bracket that is less than half of the thickness of the aluminum bracket that my Manual Transmition has- if in fact that I can change the bracket I can fit the Hydraulic mount from the automatic and every auto store has those mounts
