Default Suggestions for conservative D15b2 turbo

5-6k miles on the long block, internally sound.
Wanted maybe 135-140whp out of it, just for smiles per gallon/DD fun.
1. Would it be worth getting S300 or could some kind of FMU cut the cheese for 5-8psi?
2. Think I could/should push the engine a little harder? I figured about 160bhp is about all I can expect without snapping rods.
3. What suggestions you'd have for wheels? A little weird maybe but I would like a turbo that flows enough to lag a little bit, for "butt dyno effect".
I liked the way the K03 hit in my FSI Jetta, and those are tiny. I was thinking about getting a GT2860, or some small DSM turbo, TD06 etc.
Really just concerned that anything big enough to lag a bit will be too much for the engine, having to cut timing to stay within boost and hp parameters.
4. Would you bother with a cam at all? I mean after MPFI I'm looking for bhp gains of basically like 30hp. I don't think it's too far fetched to just get that without more airflow.

When I said FMU I was under the impression that Fuel Management Unit, would mean something like an E-manage or AEM piggyback,
Not an FPR. Why did those terms get mixed up?
