Default Suggestions on EMS Options for an E85 All Motor Project

Hey guys, so im really confused on what ecu to have for mu all motor e85 setup. Right now i have a gsr block with stock rods and ctr cone pistons with a b16 head with skunk2 dual valve springs and titanium retainers, i have blox type b cams and skunk2 ultra street intake manifold along with a 70mm throttle body. I wanted to go e85 so i bougnt 750cc rc injectors with aem fuel rail and pressure regulator. I also have a 255 fuel pump but i got a blox 300 e85 fuel pump but i was wondering if i can still use my chipped p28 with this setup without having problems on the dyno. Any advice to make this setup more safe??

E85 will eat stock fuel lines. Replace them all. From pump to rail.

Yea but what lines though.. old deteriorating oem fuel lines are weak. E85 will easily eat through. Fuel leak, Spark, Fire, Death!

you can still utilize the chipped p28. I'd return the 750 injectors and get 1000+ ID injectors.

Only if you have the hardware to change the tune of the chip that is already burned into it. Otherwise, you must retune in some way or form completely. Which means hondata. E85 doesn't have the same BTUs as race fuel and won't account for your larger injectors. therefore you must retune completely.

750cc for NA is plenty. No need for 1000cc on an NA Car for that power level

If you need Hondata, just get the latest version of S300 V3, and be done with it.

Engine management is the MOST IMPORTANT part of a custom build... it exists to synergize all components that you have brought together. You likely have made a substantial investment in the parts inside your engine... why place these parts at risk by using an online freeware program to "chip" your existing ECU ??? Hondata s300v3 is affordable... get one and do it right. As for the s300v1... ALL of those should be upgraded to a v3 before the internal battery fails and the system is rendered useless... so unless you get it from your friend for FREE, don't bother.

Nope. You'll degrade it. Nothing "stock" on the fuel system will help you on E85

Plenty of choices. You just have to go as an inline filter, possibly.

Look to AEM, Fuel Lab, and Aeromotive..

I hate E85, but I've dealt with that fuel in other projects that are not my own

Run a fuel system that is alcohol compatible. Ethanol is alcohol.

Have to use S300 V3 with GM flex fuel sensor as well as mentioned fuel lines. Im looking into using AEM infinity EMS instead of S300 V3
