Honda Civic 1999 Bad ignition switch?
Hello Guys, when I turn on my ignition my fuel pump does not make a sound so does my main relay. My engine does crank.I tried jumping ignition power going to main relay and fuel pump kicks off and main relay clicks. Would that be bad ignition switch ?

check for power from the pump and if you are not getting any work back from there to the relay and etc ...more then likely it will be the notorious Honda main relay(bad connections or relay itself) but its always good to start with finding power before just switching out parts
Yeah I thought I was bad relay but switched 3 of them. I get no power coming to main relay when I turn ON ignition. But when I jump a wire to it, it works perfectly.
I checked my ignition switch with multi meter and it switches power perfectly as well. So why does it not get to the main relay itself ?
So while jumping the cable I get flashing "green key" light could it be immobilizer problem ?

Could of course be a blown fuse. Power comes from the switch, through the fuse box, to the relay and ECU.
When you turn key on but don't crank, the oil, battery, and check engine lights should all come on. Two seconds later the check engine light goes out but oil and battery stay on. Does any of that happen?

When I turn ON the ignition there is only Oil and Battey light (very dim), there is no power from ignition to relay or ecu (no engine light).
But when I jump pin No.5 on Main Relay fuel pump kicks in and ecu turns on with solid engine light (Batt, oil and CEL lights shine brighter) and it gives me code 92.
Ill try tracing wire from ignition to main relay could find where it is losing power
Thank you all for your input guys got her started
Was bad wire ruining from fuse box to main relay + 2 Bad spark wires. When I started idle kept surging up and down so I cleaned the air control valve. Now engine works like clockwork
