iam a new member here from Egypt .. we have a hot summer here ..
i have civic 93 sedan with d15b engine
actually the problem with me my air condition very good at night and more good when i running
but the problem in morning Especially when i stop in traffic .. there is nooo cold air .. its like air from fan only !!

i change the compressor to HRV one time and to civic 97 the other time ... and there is no Solution !!
i changed all air con system to toyota compressor and large condenser with two fan and new taiwan evaporator !!.. and still no solution
my air con is too bad when it traffic and stop and so good at night Especially when running

PLEASE I NEED A SOLUTION FROM SPECIALIST'S

in traffic there is no cool and in morning and there is air like from fan air not cooling !!

i changed the compressor to toyota comp and condenser for a large one>> and i bring a new tiwan evaporator and i charged 132 Freon and the same problem and no solution of this problem !!

any one can help me i need help for who's faced the same problem and solved before and from any Specialists please urgently

This really isn't a Honda question any more since you have built a custom system. Although you should consider the well known Civic problem of the heater water valve not closing fully causing the heater and A/C to fight each other (the heater will win). This can be remedied by adjusting the push-pull cable on the valve.

What are the operating pressures in hot weather? Test with the interior fan on high recirculator set to fresh air, the car doors open so it does not cool off inside, and the engine at 1500 rpm.

 

Is there a fan w/ fan shroud on the condenser? Is the compressor kicking on? Is the blower motor sealed and blowing air directly onto the evaporator? Are all your components properly oiled and test for vacuum leaks? Do you have any tools to test the ac system? Were you just that desperate for AC that you decide to scap a toyota car/truck/suv/lift/cabana to put it in your honda?

 

Also make sure the compressor you're using is rated to spin counter-clockwise-- most other cars turn them clockwise.

When it's cooler (at night) or during the day when you are driving and air is being pushed through the condenser the air conditioning works as it should. However, during the day, at idle, and car not moving the air conditioner doesn't work properly? Maybe an issue with condensor..partially clogged internally or externally. OP when car is cold spray the condensor from front and back (engine side first) with a water hose + nozzle. Select nozzle pressure that won't bend the condensor fins. Also, inspect condensor fins and carefully open them if bent or damaged with a fin bending tool or dental pick.
