Icon3 GOAUTOWORKS turbo package

So, I've recently been doing research on turboing my Del Sol. I'm looking at power around 200-300 HP.
So I was looking at this kit that Go-Autoworks is promoting, and I had some questions about it.
I am just looking to do a street build. It's gunna be a daily driven. So, nothing out of this world lol. I want it
to feel powerful but at the same time be reliable as can be.

First, I was wondering what turbo would be the best out of the ones they offer?
These are the turbos:
Turbonetics T3 super 60 .60 a/r 150-330 (hp I'm guessing.)
Turbonetics custom t3/t04 .63 a/r 200-400 (hp I'm guessing.)
Garret GT28 journal bearing .63 a/r 150-330 (hp I'm guessing.)

The kit consists of multiple things needed to turbo my car. I also made a list of other things I'm going to be
buying to go along side the kit.

- GO-autoworks "street" turbo system
- half sized aluminum radiator & slimeline fan combo
- Competition clutch stage 2
- Grams digital wideband
- Arp headstuds/head gasket
- 650s injectors (off my old Dsm)
- e85 walbro 400 fuel pump
As of now, that's all I've put together. I know I might need bigger injectors if I want to go
e85. I was just seeing if I could get everyone inputs on what else I might need or what I need to think/brainstorm
some more about. I don't really want to spend money on piston/rods combo but I'm also kinda nervous for that.
Would you guys recommend just going through with everything now? I'm kinda a budget per say lol.

thaks in advance guys,

YaMz

Moved to Forced Induction as you will likely get more accurate info about Turbo's here.

Which Engine of the Del Sol? Not to mention you can always get another turbo outside of their selections, as long as you know the flange system you need. Hell, you can even go EFR if you wanted..

It's a completely stock d16z6. Bought from an older gentalman with 170k miles on it. Been doing some research
on the GT28. Seems to be the one I will be going with in the package deal. Looking to pick up a p28 ECU soon.

Looking to start ordering everything here as soon as my taxes come in will slowly let you guys know how it's going, and some
possible questions of course

300 on those turbos with a stock single cam block is gonna be pretty sketchy.

These are the turbos:
Turbonetics T3 super 60 .60 a/r 150hp-330hp - that's to the crankshaft
Turbonetics custom t3/t04 .63 a/r 200-400 - closer to be over 300whp-330whp
Garret GT28 journal bearing .63 a/r 150-300hp - that's to the crankshaft and will be STRETCHED to reach that to the wheels.

Where are you located? I'm about to pull off a Turbonetics-GA 5454 with .63 housing if your interested. I would assume it could make 300 on a d-series. PM me if your interested.

Contact Greg at goautoworks he will help you with your goals, I've been dealing with him for couple years now and he is a very honest straight up guy.

personally i would keep it under 250-260whp on a stock z6. Beyond that, i would trust the rods to hold up for very long.
