Hi guys. My motor revs every time I up shift (about 2-400rpms) not much but it's annoying. I bought the car this way. Wanted to know you guys input on this. I've looked on Google but none are my motor. This is my first honda so you can say I'm here to learn a bit about them lol.

Check the tension on your throttle cable. Seems like it may need to be adjusted. that's about it. no computer, no weirdness.

 

It's a common problem with the 70mm skunk2 TB. The spring tension on the pulley isn't strong enough to close the throttle plate under vacuum.

To fix it, take the pulley off, drill another hole a few mm over and re-install. Mine has 3 holes. The top hole in the picture is the original. The middle one was actually enough to fix it, but I drilled another just to be extra sure. So my pulley spring is in the bottom hole in this picture.

 

Ah. the billet 70mm. Never did like that thing. I'm one for the alpha 70mm. To me, it's much easier to manipulate
