Just wondering what type of glue Honda use on those plastic sheet materials that are glued to the door behind the door card.

Anybody know what I mean?

 

It kinda looks like white/brown caulk??

I just did this about a month ago. I ordered 2, but one tube is enough. Also, make sure you figure out which plastic sheet is left/right side before applying

 

Was one tube enough for both sides?

I've bought new OEM sheets for both sides. I'm wondering if the sheets will come with a small tube of this stuff. If not, I'll order some up.

 

One neat thing I noticed with this stuff (at least the stuff that came on my 05 TL)....If you ever need to get into the door, just tug the plastic sheet outward and this adhesive will stretch. As it stretches, cut it down the middle with an x-acto. This leaves half the adhesive on the door and half on the film. Then when you're done, simply press it all back together for a weatherproof seal. It takes a little time, but it's well worth it.
