Default 1992 Civic VX stumbles when cold.

Hello, I have searched for an answer to this issue that Ive been having and I thought that I had it figured out when I replaced the spark plus wires and plugs after it died at the side of the road.
After I replaced the wires and plugs the car ran great with no issues for a few days. But now it has started hesitating/stumbling upon acceleration when cold.

I know this is an issue with these cars but I'm confused as to why its only doing this when its cold vs before when it was only doing this when it was hot, hahaha!

Maybe its just coincidental and it could be another issue that has come up?

Either way Im going to change the cap and rotor tomorrow since they both have a bit of wear, but I honestly don't think thats going to fix my problem.

Any feedback would be great. Thanks!

Pull your spark plugs and inspect them now that they've been used a little bit. If you could provide pics of them, that might be helpful too.

If they are less than perfect this soon after changing them, they could be telling you something.

Update...

I changed the cap and rotor since they weren't in the best condition. This made a huge difference from what I can tell so far.
The little spring that makes contact on the outside of the cap was also bent way out of shape so I don't think it was making good contact with the cap, that may have had something to do with it.
The rotor was also in bad shape, it was probably the original. 220,000kms.

New wires, plugs, air filter, cap and rotor and it seems to be running well now. I hope it was just this minor tune up that it needed. A few days of driving will tell.

Thanks for the feedback.

So its been about a week of driving and the car has been running great. No more hesitation on acceleration or stumble on idle.
I guess it was the combination of a few electrical parts that added up.

Hope this helps out anyone that has the same issue.
Remember, the spark plugs for this engine (1.5L vtec-e) are specific due to it going into lean burn so make sure you get the right ones when swapping them out.

Actually all 3 CDM engines (3 of 4 USDM engines) had different v-power plugs. The D16Z6 takes different plugs than the D15B7 which is different than the D15Z1.

I am not sure what plugs go into the D15B8. I am thinking they might be the same ones as the D15B7 but not sure.
