So it has been raining in SoCal these past few weeks...not sure if it is contributing to my problem but I'd thought I'd mention it just in case. Anyway, I drive an automatic 1994 Acura Integra LS. Today I'm stopped at a light and I notice that my car suddenly starts struggling in the idle position. It seems as if my engine is about to die. Then, when the light goes green, I hit the gas and I got very little response. It mostly just revved up but the car increased in speed very slowly. I was able to get it up to normal speed but this problem happened again at the next light I stopped at.

I parked the car for a few hours after that and the drive home had no issues. I have also had a problem shifting the car into drive a couple of times recently. The car is an automatic, and twice recently I have started the car and I cannot shift into drive because the shifter button seems stuck.

Anybody out there in Honda-Tech land have any idea what's going on? It seems to me that all of these issues can be explained by a faulty or failing transmission, but I'm no mechanic and I'd appreciate any thoughtful comments from people who know about Integras.
