Plugs I suspect will be the same as the D16Z6, find out what dizzy it is. If TD42U then it's the Z6 cap and rotor, if it's TD41U then it's the D15B7 cap and rotor.
Wires will depend on the style spark plug tube the 3 staqe is, if it's the split tube with lower seals, that has a wider circumference hole and takes the larger D15B7 wires, if it's the solid tube spark plug tubes then it will be the narrow circumference style D16Z6/D16Y8 wires.
Water pump should be the same D15 water pump used on almost all D15's (B7, B8, B2 etc etc).
He can count the teeth on the timing belt that is on it and depending on if it's the 103, 104 or 106 tooth etc will determine which USDM belt will be the match. I would suspect it's the D15B7 106 tooth but could be mistaken as the 104 tooth is the D16Z6 while the 103 tooth is the D15Z1 (VX) belt.

Sorry but no. The 3 Stage VTEC is very close to the D16Y8 and D16Y5 motors, not the OBD1 gen as the above poster seems to think. Source all your parts for a 96-00 Civic EX/HX.
If you're looking for a service manual specific for that engine, outside of Japan it is known as a D15Z7.
If you want to make it OBD1, use a D series non VTEC distributor, injectors, and OBD1 alternator.

Check out this site as it sells a lot of JDM specific engine parts and if you have questions they may be able to answer them

I totally forgot it's an obd2 motor in Japan. Thanks for correcting.
