Which D15B? If it's the OBD1 non-vtec version or dual carbed version D15B7 stuff works. If it's the OBD1 Vtec version you need a D15Z1 (VX) waterpump and timing belt, the tensioner isn't available in North America, D16Z6 tensioner is close, but it uses a larger roller. If it's a Vtec-e version you need all VX stuff. If it's an OBD2 version I'm not sure what you need, but I would guess D16Y7/D16Y8 parts.

Its obd1 the block stamp just says d15b on autopartswarehouse the vx says d15b7 and d15b8. Do i need to change the tensioner? Heres a link to the one im looking it. It's cheap i know but i need it asap and thats all i could really afford right as im looking at getting a new timing belt, spark plugs, spark plug wires and oil and filter

Correct, you can't get the exact tensioner. Mine is a Z6 tensioner with the slightly larger roller.

That p/n list is for Obd-1 D15b single stage.

I always just get a Z6 oil filter. Im sure alot of single cams use the same oil filter though.

This is where you have to use your keen identifying skills to narrow down exactly what it is. Without seeing pictures I couldn't tell you.

If it's bad then yes. If it rolls good and sounds good you don't need to. They don't fail all that often and I normally just reuse them

Your link isn't there.

Honda only makes 3 oil filters: Insight, S2000, and everything else. Aftermarket oil filters will vary though for whatever reason.

If it's actually for a VX it will fit. The description is confusing since it says does not fit vtec engine when the VX has a vtec engine (vtec-e)

It's hard to tell the difference until you see the two side by side, but they are indeed different. I can't remember if it just wont bolt up or if it will but leaks due to not being the right shape.
