Good afternoon, gentlemen. I have a recurring issue with my 97 CX combination switch. I've had the car about a month, and when I first got it, turning corners with the signla on, the switch would not reset back to default when the wheel came back to center. After driving for a couple days, it eventually did start clicking back and turning the signal off after a turn. Now it's not doing it again. What may be the problem, outside replacing the combination switch entirely?

 

The little ball that controls the snap back function sits inside a small plastic housing inside the switch next to the steering column. Plastic has a way of breaking/wearing out over time. Go to a junkyard, pull a working one and swap it out.

 

Take it out. Clean and regrease. If that doesn't fix, then replace with one from the junkyard. They are like $15..
