94 EX Ignition Swith on its way out?
Good morning, guys. The last few days of driving my car before the trans rebuild, I noticed that when I would start the car, the stereo (aftermarket head unit) would beep, as it does when you turn off the car. The stereo would beep and the head unit would be dark, along with the light on my iPhone charger.
For ***** and giggles, while the car was running, I turned the key JUST BARELY to towards Crank, but not far enough to engage the starter. Suddenly, the stereo would light back up and everything would work fine. Could it be that my ignition switch is getting ready to go? Thanks

Sounds like it. The switch is an all plastic assembly that bolts to the ignition lock and the interface between the 2 can get sloppy over the years. If you remove the column cover, it's facing the drivers' door. Pretty simple to access if you wanted to give it a closer look.
I kind of figured it might have something to do with the ignition switch, considering it can be changed/fixed just by moving the key around. Good deal. Thanks guys
