1994 civic none starter
I'm working on a civic for a mate which won't start.
It's a 94 model with a d15b2 in it. The problem is that it turns over and starts for a second then cuts out.
In ignition position 1 the radio comes on as it should, then in ignition position 2 there are no dash lights when there should be, when you crank it the dash lights come on and it starts but as soon as the key springs back to ignition position 2 it dies again.
I can keep it running by holding the key just in front of position 2 so the starter isn't engaged and it runs fine so it's nothing mechanical.
From what I've read it could be ignition switch, main relay or ignition control module. Which one would be the most likely and is there anything else I could try?
