damn nice swap... make sure you add ARP head bolts and studs to that. what kid of gasket are you going to use? also: oil squirters? man they arent totally nessisary, but if you feel the need then
btw, good choice on ECU, bypass the ol knock sencor eh?

wahoo! im the only one here so far thats not a n00b, ne way ,im dying to do a crvtec swap but no money, lol, but everything sounds good, i expext around 165-170hp
Yea wouldn't weld the diff. if you are planning on driving on the street.. Have fun going around corners.. skip skip skip hehe I would just go with a Quaife or Kazz LSD...
Not sure how you are going to get oil squirters on a Non-vtec block, I guess if you drilled a tapped the oil galley passages you maybe ok.. but thats something you need to be very carful on.
The, welded diff isnt fun on the street. we had a Turbo B16a Crx, with a welded J1 tranny, god it was just a pain in parking lots. But traction is just great.. If you dont mind the skiping and jerking go for it.
I just installed my lsvtec yesterday, and I can already tell you tuning is going to be somewhat of a bitch with this motor, I am pretty unimpressed so far, I am hoping the PW0 program I am using is just not enough, and I can dial it in better later on.

nice i ran a similar setup, i used ITR pistons instead of p30's and a itr intake manifold and no oil squirters. I had a full on head job done by portflow and I dyno'd 207whp with CTR's compression will be even higher and will create even more power. Sounds like you got a good setup going.
GEt the crank balanced and blueprinted, Since you are taking the piston out why not buy some aftermarket piston and rods. I would rather get the b16 or type r tranny for the shorter gear, you'll reach vtec faster and stay in there(not dily driven friendly).
