Default 90' Civic RT-X, anything recomended doing before I store my car for winter?

I'm getting ready to store my car for the winter. Anyone have any recommendations on things to do before storing it/let it sit that long?

Its a 1990 Honda Civic RT-X sedan
dual carb zc 1.5l
5 speed RT4WD

Just looking for things I can do to prevent issues when spring time rolls around. Thanks in advance!

take the battery out and leave it somewhere warm and about once a month make sure it stays charged
if you have power where your storing it then a battery tender will do just fine
make sure you have antifreeze in your cooling system and not water
it would be a good idea to use wood or something to place under all four of your lower control arms
so your car can be lifted off the ground so your tires dont get a flat side to them
just lift the car enough so the tires are off the ground about 1/2 a inch or so, to protect your tires
and make sure all your windows are rolled up so no bugs or rats get in the inside of the car

and maybe a car cover to keep the dust off or a bunch of old blankets if your cheep

thats about all i can think of at the moment

noted thanks man! I just want to make sure I don't run into any problems when spring rolls around. I'll probably put it up on a set of jack stands for the winter. Unfortunately there's no power in the storage unit so I'll more than likely take the battery out and bring it home with me.

if you are going to use jack stands make sure that you place them under the control arms
right under the struts
you dont want to place them anywhere else because your suspention will be stretched out
so pretty much all your bushings will be turned and if left like this for a long time
will rip the rubber off them because of the stress
but if you lift from under the control arms the car will be sitting as if it was still on the ground
and nothing will get damage in the months to come

you dont have to use wood but i think it works best
because it doesnt scratch up anything

A 4WD Civic is exactly what you should be driving in winter, not storing.
