Default Rear spoiler installation 1st gen

I ordered a non OEM rear spoiler for the first gen CR-V. Any one install theirs? I got one from Ebay. Non OEM. Just wanted to know steps on how to install and what to watch out for. I know some drilling is required but that top piece above the rear glass easy to take off? In order to drill holes because the rear glass might be in the way. Also I guess drilling an extra hole for the brake light wire. Any advise appreciated.

Not yet. I waited for my imported rear back up mirror so I can install same time. Saw two dimples which I need to drill too plus a hole for the brake light

You putting the mirror on the left side or the right? Thinking about getting one of these and a non OEM spoiler. Please post pics of the result and the fit when finished, I'd REALLY appreciate the preview!

Not sure but the area on the left[driver side] had an oval plug. I got a feeling it has dimples[3] where you drill a hole for the bolts on the rear backup mirror.
