Any tips for installing rear DECKLID spoiler on 06-07 Sedan?
I just purchased an OEM Spoiler from a Honda dealer on eBay. Installation looks a little more difficult than when I installed a spoiler on my 1994 Civic Sedan a number of years ago. The Civic's trunk was counter sunk at the points where I needed to drill into from the back side. It appears as if you drill from the outside of the trunk in when installing the DECKLID Spoiler on the Accord. I don't want to mess it up, yet I am not sure if I would trust a body shop to install it either, and its not worth the hour or labor they will chargne me when I think its not aligned properly. Anyone install one of these?

Measure three or four times, use a centre punch and use the new trunk springs that come with the kit, they make a big difference....just take your time and you will do a fine job. The trick is to be dead on with the measurements (and you can even drill the holes a little bigger if you are off- that's what i did..
Here's mine...

I have the OEM instructions from Majestic Honda, yet even when installing the OEM Fog Lamps, there are little tricks that make the job easier along the way that the directions really do not show you, kind of wanted to get a feel for the install, thats all.

If you are using the double sided tape (which mine had) clean the surface with some rubbing alcohol first and make sure the trunk is good and warm, like 75deg or warmer so the tape can bond properly... once you stick it down, it aint commin up, so don't peel off the release tape until it's dead where you want it...
Post some pics once you've got it on!
