Default if i change my head gasket and mark exactly the position of ea screw on my distributor will the timi

if i mark the alignment of my distributor screws exactly and change the head gasket and put it back how it was will the timing be the same ?

should be, but i would still get it checked or check it yourself with a timming gun.

Just get notice where the screws have been held on the distributor for a while. You can tell like exactly how it was on. But yea if you do that, mark each spot it will be fine.

the best way that i can think to ball park the timing is to scribe a line across one of the legs of the distributor and continue scribing on to the head. when you put the dizzy back on just line up the marks.

u dont have to take ur dizzy off in order to take the head off... but since u taking T belt off u alway s wanna make sure u still on time!
