Default Installing Distributor after replacing head gasket

I just replaced my head gasket and timing belt and unable to get the engine to start. I noticed I am not getting any spark while cranking. I am wondering whether or not I installed the distributor onto the mating grooves of the intake camshaft correctly. Does anyone know the correct way to do this? I just slid it on. Is it possible the distributor can be 180 degrees off?

Thanks.

Default Re: Installing Distributor after replacing head gasket

Since I have no spark, I went ahead and removed the distributor cap, rotor, and leak cover so that I can check the ignition coil. I am getting 11.7K ohms across the secondary windings and 600 ohms across the primary windings. Are my readings for the secondary windings out of spec? The Honda repair manual states a range from 12.5K to 19.2K. Could this be my problem? Lack of resistance at the coils would prevent voltage build up. Would like to confirm here. I don't understand how this could be a sudden problem after the head gasket replacement.
