obd2 scanner Android phone
Hey all, I am about as tech savy as a wooden spoon. What OBD2 adapter and Cell phone App do you guys use?
Im not so much interested in hp/torque or 0-60 times, mainly just MPG.
Also what should I look for in the adapter and app? It will be used on a 2000 civic ex
Thanks

The best app for Android is Torque.
The bluetooth dongles on the other hand is challenging to say the least. There is a whole crap load of china cheapness floating around ebay and amazon.
A friend of mine told me who to buy from on ebay several years back but the only detail I remember is the seller is from Texas.
I have OBD1 so never bothered getting the dongle.
Just cruzing through Ebay Canada and I found the one I would go for. Looks like it's made in USA and is of much higher quality than the cheap china junk:

Here's an onboard reader you can leave plugged in, set alerts (ex: coolant temp) and scans: UltraGauge OBDII Scan tool & Information Center
I don't own one but, I'm hinting at my kids to buy me one for X-mas.
