No Crank, No Click, No Start.....and then Starts
I have a 95 Civic ex coupe. I tried to start it today and it wouldn't start....obviously. The battery, as far as i know, is good because i have never had any issue with it and the lights, cd player, and everything electrical worked when the key was turned. I tried to start the car a few times and I heard no click, no crank, only the sound of the fuel filter....i think that is what it was. After a couple of tries i stopped, opened the hood although i really didn't know what i was looking for, closed the hood, went back in and tried to start the car and it started no problem. I drove home, turned the car off and started it a couple times and had no issue.
Any suggestions on what the problem might be?
Thanks fellas.

Take your battery to an autoparts store and have them verify it's good. It's probably not.
At the very least, you may need to poor some distilled water into it if you've got a standard lead-acid car battery.

Do that first ^^^^^ But I also had the same problem in my Eh hatch. I would hold the key in the start position for about 5 seconds before it would even try to crank. Just like you the fuel pump primed but no start/crank. All my grounds were good and it did it randomly, sometimes leaving me stranded. I replaced my starter and the problem went away. Take your starter off and have it checked at your local auto store. Im almost certain this is your issue but have it tested before you replace it.
