Icon4 over heating or gauge problem???the

Thanks for reading. I had my Honda accord 1995 ex for almost a year now and she has been giving me hell. when i first got her from the auction the gauge barley moves a quarter from the cold line. fortunately,i took care of that issue by changing the thermostat, coolant temperature sending unit and coolant temperature sensor(he one under the distributor). However, the problem after that "fix" is the opposite, now the gauge is almost at the over-heat(red) after 10 minutes of driving. it has been like this over the summer and im thinking it might not be really over heating its just might be the gauge problem because i would've seen smoke or some shitt coming out the engine. i took the temp using food thermometer and its around 200 Fahrenheit while the gauge says its overheating. the fans work and automatically comes on. i don't know what to do any more help please.

I'm sure that sensor underneath the distributor in your picture is not supposed to be cut.

Thanks for the reply and happy thanksgiving
@ nyckid i did bleed the system when i changed the thermostat, but im pretty sure i didn't do it right. i didn't wait for the radiator to burp out air like 3 times or so, like some videos on youtube. ll will try it for second time and ill make sure its done right, hopefully tht solves my problem.
@djkurious that picture was taken before i changed the sensors, ill look at it again if its still like that.
