Default 3g drag record without motor swap :)

everything built and fabricated and tuned by yours truly:
b20a block bored to 83.5mm
custom JE pistons
oem h23a1 rods
ARP head studs
cometic hg
b21 head and intake manifold (single runner)
supertech inner valve springs with oem outer valve springs
9.8:1 compression
everything port matched and mildly street ported
oem b21 exhaust cam
oem b18a intake cam
custom EQ SS tubular turbo manifold
Garrett Super 60 T3 0.63a/r (yes it is a true super 60 with 1.9" inducer)
Tial 38mm WG, open dump
HKS SSQ bov
2.5" exhaust from turbo back
RC 750cc injectors
14psi on e85
street tuned with crome, based off the previous dyno tune at 10psi with Mobil 93 pump gas
94 integra factory replacement flywheel
94 integra XTD stage 5 sprung clutch
OEM DC2 helical LSD

stock shocks with almost 500k miles on them lol
stock springs cut in a bucket of water
prothane bushings everywhere besides...
stock radius arms with original stock bushings
Hoosier 24.5x9x13 slicks

definitely a lot of room for improvement in both the car and the driver. Funny how my fastest time of the day was with one of my worst 60ft's and while sitting next to an ungodly loud dragster that prevented me from hearing or feeling my car at all. Oh, and I know I didn't get quite enough heat in the tires, my left ebrake doesn't fully lock. So when I spin them up, it rotates the car a little and drags it all the way to the start. I definitely need a traction bar, better suspension, and way more practice and testing various tire pressures. It'd help if the track was prepped decently too.

Pretty good times for a 2.0L 4 cylinder! It's not everyday you see an old school Honda, especially a 3g Prelude drag racing out the hole. Props on your build and track times.

thank you. I have a traction bar with torque mount and skidplate/crossbrace being built for it currently. And by the time I run again in spring I'll also have coilovers installed, possibly aftermarket motor mounts, and a whole new head with custom b20/h22 hybrid intake manifold for larger TB, more plenum volume, and standard short fat runners. and along with that will be a larger map sensor and a bit more boost. And maybe a new larger hood-exit exhaust for less weight and better flow. Then it's just a matter of dialing it in and practice practice practice. should get me deeper into the 11's and possibly high 10's. we shall see

Not bad, what is the weight of the car?

Tranny setup, do you have an LSD, or just open diff? I am thinking that with more seat time, and getting the car dialed in, it should go a bit quicker. Fixing the e-brake is an easy thing to get a better burnout, and help to preload the car at the line properly as well. Might look at adding weight into the traction bar to help keep the tires down, as I just don't see that your power should be spinning 24.5 tires that much, when guys have been deep 8's on them.

I forgot to list that, I do have an OEM DC2 helical LSD installed.
yeah, I'll be replacing the caliper before my next trip to the strip. it holds solid for normal use, but wasn't quite solid enough for the warmup burnouts.
Funny enough, it took me about half the day to realize it, but the starting line of the track was prepped so well I didn't even need to use the ebrake to preload. all 4 tires stuck like glue in place at the line to preload with the ebrake fully disabled lol. my launches improved a bit after finding that out too, dropped a full tenth off my 60ft. which I know also means I need more practice preloading WITH the ebrake haha. The rest of the track was prepped terribly though. I actually had several racers that day tell me they couldn't hook for crap for the whole first 1/8th of the track past the 60ft mark. my sloppy and high mileage "stock" suspension doesn't help matters either. I found that quickshifting made 2nd and 3rd spin like clockwork from the sheer sudden pitch change killing front traction, while shifting a hair slower allowed me to maintain rock solid traction the whole way but losing a few tenths overall from the lack of acceleration during those times.
I got 20 runs in that day, so I got to do plenty of experimenting. I now have a nice list of parts to get to improve the car, as well as a nice list of improvements I need to make as the driver and other things to continue testing.
One of the many things I'll be working on is more weight reduction and better weight distribution. There currently is still too much weight in the rear and on the drivers side. with me in the car as it was set up that day at the track, it was about 60/40 F/R, and 62/38 L/R. I'd really like to see it closer to 65/35-68/32 F/R and 55/45 L/R.
