Default engine problems

Alright to start this is a 97 gsr w/ t3/t4 turbo ect. its having some minor problems after replacing the head gasket only ONE of the cylenders is firing, number one is the only one running. We've checked every sensor the injectors the fuel line, pumps regulator vacum lines, replaced the spark plug wires with cran 11mm they go with the fireball ignition system and tried 2 new set of spark plugs but yet still no luck. any other ideas? thanks guys

note: we have also tried switchign the injectors with the one that works to another one and it still fails when we pull the spark plug wire on the first cyln... also we switched the inject sensors/electronics to see if that made any difference but didn't the car dies when we pull the first spark wire.. they ALL do spark that has been tested.

I'll check the codes tomarrow, i remember one of the guys saying it just flashed once but other than that it completly blew past my mind but thats somthing i'll take a look at thanks.

also, timing isn't off we thought thats what the initial problem is but to our surprise and after adjusting it about 15 times we came to the conclusion that it wasn't that.
