What is the reasoning behind doing this conversion? Is 5 lug stronger or something?

5 Lug is a complete swap from your suspension to an ITR Suspension.

What Kamin said down there

so its for the bling bling.

the four piston fastbrakes kit is $700 without the 2 piece rotors. And with a rear disc swap at ~$300, it isnt that bad of a price with the wheels.

actually there was a recent post comparing ITR and NSX brakes and the itr calipers actually have more braking power than the nsx calipers.
