Coolant line question for B series EG/EJ owners
Are the inlet and outlet lines that go to the heater core the same on the d16 as the b18? I am pretty sure the inlet hose does not need to be changed as the water valve is being used from the Civic. As for the outlet line, I'm confused if I need an Integra line or will the Civic line work?
Thanks

Re: Coolant line question for B series EG/EJ owners (Mikey)
depends on WHICH B-series swap you're doing.
When I did my 2nd Gen JDM B16A swap, I didn't have to change my EG heater hoses. They were perfect! As well, when I went to my "Poor man's ITR" swap they were ok still (Used the ITR water pipe for the engine build) (B16A and ITR heater hose inlets are in the exact same position as all EG and EK civics)
NOW only problem is with a B18C1 (GS-R) swap. I did a B18C1 swap in my friend's '99 EK h/b, the setup for the heater hoses is DIFFERENT. *1* of the heater hoses had to be chanaged..... (we got both GS-R hoses incase) but I can't remember which one it was. (sorry!) But I think it's the one between the water valve and the engine. On the Civic it'll go from the water valve to the head, but on the GS-R I think it goes to the thermostat housing instead. (think..)
