Default Honda part number for M8x1.25x40mm throttle body studs?

I just bought a Skunk2 Thermal gasket for my throttle body since I'm taking it off anyway. It's about 3.5mm thick, so I'm looking for M8x1.25x40mm studs made by Honda, if possible. Does anyone know if Honda makes a 40mm stud in this size? Also, any idea why Honda chose to use 2 bolts and 2 studs? Can I just use 4 studs?

Not sure why bot a stud and a bolt is used but see no reason why one or the other can't be used.
Any Fastening shop should be able to supply what you need. 94

OK, thank you. Are these stainless from McMaster strong enough?

As torque is probably only 16 ft-lbs for either a bolt or a nut on a stud they should be more then enough, make sure if there nut you use is not SS use an anti-seize. 94

Sounds good, thank you. I already have some M8 stainless serrated flange nuts, but I was going to use nickel anti-seize on the studs going into the intake manifold (not on the nut side). Is that OK?

Yes, even a little on the nut will not hurt. 94

I am not sure the motor you are working on but if your intake manifold is anything like the D15B7 or even the F22 I pulled a throttle body off of, you might notice two of the holes are open ended (where the bolts go) and two of the holes are closed ended (where the studs go).

I believe the bolts were used in the open holes as there is not a back wall to stop the stud from passing through should a nut cross thread or whatnot when tightening.

I did notice that, but I'm curious why Honda chose not to have 4 studs.

edit...All 4 are open on my Skunk2 manifold.
