Looking for some insight into an issue I had with my Transmission past track day. I just finished my build and had the car out for the first time to the track. Drove a little bit on the street to break in the motor and to have some fun, but my second pass at the track the trans was locked out of 4th....didn't do a crazy launch since it was only the second pass on the car.
tranny is a new build with Mfactory LSD and 4.05 final drive. All new gsr gears and sliders with carbon synchros.
when I pulled the hub and slider they looked pretty beat up and the heat marks were at an angle on the 4th gear. Double checked all my clearances and everything looks fine. Anyone ever see this or have this issue?
motor is 900hp and 590tq also the trams has a Mfactory cuff
Yes, brand new. Was using synchrotec pro carbon fiber synchros and Torco RTF, when I drained the fluid there was the proper amount and just a little metal on the magnet.
The synchro needs some miles to fully seat in but I have never seen one with that wear pattern before. It could possibly be a bent fork or bent synchro. Either way it's not normal. If you want to send the 3-4 gears, 3-4 sleeve, synchros and fork to me I will check them for you and change the synchro for free just to be safe.

^ This customer service is why my race car has Synchrotech carbon synchros in it. Just saying, can't beat it.
