Idle issue someone please help im lost
Ok guys this is what i got.... 92 honda prelude si 2.3 "h23a1"
I bought the lude a year ago it has had an idle problem after car warms up idle smoothed out. Now idle bounces up to 2500 rpms and does not smooth out to a normal idle. Its constantly bouncing expect while car ia in motion. Now i have replaced the IAC valve, FIT valve, EGR, TB gasket, Distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs and wires, fuel filter, injectors. Im so damn stumped. Im beginning to think the TPS sensor but i dont want to keep put $$ into it and i cant afford a shop job. So please someone help... thank you guys for reading oh and my fuel just goes like crazy i feel like i burn a full tank within a weeks time.

You have a vacuum leak, you need to track down the leak and fix it. There are how-to's on how to do it on youtube.
here's one, and you can use a fine mist of water instead of carb cleaner and do the same thing, listen for a change in idle speed.

you said you replaced the fitv not that you cleaned it, you need to be accurate with the all the info you give in order to get accurate advice, it's possible the orings are missing or not sealing the fitv to the intake manifold
Thanks guys. I will look for that vacuum leak. I apologize if the thrwad wasnt understanding enough for some but i am new here at honda tech and just tryin to remember what i did, what was bought ya know. I will get better at this. Thank you fellas again much appreciated!!!
Remove the intake tube exposing the inlet of the throttle body. Crank up the car. Facing the T/B from the passenger side of the car, you will see two holes in the T/B just in front of the throttle blade... one at about the 8 o-clock position and the other at about the 10 o-clock position. First, place your finger and completely cover the lower hole... if the idle settles right down, your problem is the FITV. Next, place your finger over the upper hole... again, if the idle settles out your issue is the IACV. If neither changes the "hunting idle", then you will have to explore further to find the leak. Then I suggest you follow the video above.
It's better to diagnose as much as you can before replacing something or taking it to a shop. There's a Honda factory service manual for these cars available in a PDF on that super Honda website. Check it out.
