Default help! vaccum leak

Went to get my oil changed and was told I have a vaccum leak I could hear the hissing. They couldn't tell me much other than that they don't believe it's a hose... but they just do oil.. I'm not very educated when it comes to cars ..so does anyone have any advice as to what it may be and what it would cost to fix? It's also going through more gas than usual..

Check over vacuum hoses to make sure they're connected and in tact and make sure your intake tube is free of cracks or tears. Listen around and try to pinpoint an area of your engine where you're hearing the hissing, that will definitely help you find the leak.

You might try checking the Motor mount up against the firewall. I looked for a vacuum leak for months before I found that this mount was cracked and releasing vacuum.

Use a spray bottle with water, spray around you vacuum lines until you hear a change in RPM's. Minimal water injected into the system won't affect anything.
