hi there as the title states I have a 97 ex with a b16a2 from a 2000 si. The speedo and odomotor do not work. My vtec works fine as well as all my other guages. I DO NOT have a check engine light and vtec works so I don't believe it's the VSS. Any input would be greatly appreciated thanks!

New problem on an old swap or new swap? If new swap, is there a cheapo adapter harness involved?

 

B16a2 motor and trans p72 gsr obd1

 

CEL works fine old swap before I got it, I unplugged the VSS in the trans and it threw code 10 but when I plug it back in CEL goes away

 

Looks^ like you have sensor connectors swapped. And you're also using the wrong ECU.

 

P72 can't be used with a b16? I have the harness to convert it to obd1 and how would I go about changing those sensors?

 

Don't replace any sensors. Instead, check whether you mismatched connectors to some sensors.

You can do anything you want, but the ECU is not a match for the engine.
