I had blew out my y8 and i went to a shop to get a new motor i told them i was looking for the same engine and the guy told me he would have to order it from japan. So it took about 3 weeks to get here and when it got here i didn't bother looking at the engine cause i thought it'll be the right one then whe i had it mounted is when i seen that it was a d15b. My cousin was the one that mounted it and told me he had trouble because it was an older engine. Anyway i believe the ecu it has right now is a P2P, my car won't go past 92mph i'm guessing it's cause it doesn't have the right maps for the d15. I want to know what ecu would be best for d15b since my civic is an obd2.
