Only front head light is on after small body shop repairs. HELP
I have a 2000 honda accord 4 dooor 4cylinder. I had a little accident on the front driver side head light where I had to replace FL fender, hood, bumper cover and the FL head light. I removed everthing that needed replace before taking it to the body shop for replacement/paint.When I took the car to the shop all lights are working: head light, parking light, instrument penal light, real tail light. NOW (after the repair) only head light, signal, break, and dome light work while all the other are dead an these are parking lights ( the first click when you turn on your light) and instrument panel lights.
I check the fuse box in the engine bay and everything looks fine. I then check the fuse box on the driver side and fuse #4(a 7.5a) from the bottom up is missing. I try to jam a 7.5a fuse in but it won't go in and looks like it is just a spare space. Right now I'm driving without any instrument light and rear tail light.
Took the car back to the shop but they said that they have not done anything to the fuse. Your thoughts???
Please HELP ME. MANY MANY THANKS.

maybe they put your car out in the rain without covering it..
since they mess it up they need to fix it back(sound easy....but not)
is very dangerious to drive a car without rear tail light....
last resort-->honda dealer..
is strange..no sight of bad fuse?

Here's my shot in the dark, but it did happen to someone..
The body shop didn't cover up the sockets and connections. While painting, the overspray got on the connections and sockets. After that, lights and other things didn't work..
So Good Luck finding the problem..

If you give me a wiring diagram I can figure it out for you..
But I can tell you that your problem is after the Fuse and before the Lights that aren't turning on. There's probably a pinched wire or something causing Current to flow directly to Ground which would cause a blown Fuse..
But that's just what I think..

Which of your fuse is burned immediately. From what I can see, none of my fuses are blown. Is it those in the engine bay or those groups on the driver side panel. Could there be a wire pinched or perhaps accidentally cut running along the bumber cover or FL fender?? I took these parts off before taking them to the body shop and lights worked before then. Any suggestions, and some one must have a diagram of the electrical diagram on the car. Many Thanks.

the fuse in the Engine bay is blown...from what i know of none of the fuses inside the car are blown. When i left the bodyshop my lights were all working,(i left the bodyshop at around 6) and by like 730 they were all out already.I personally havnt taken off my bumper and headlights to see if theres a pinched wire or a cut wire because i dont really want to mess anything up more than it already is(electrically).
If your alarm flashes your parking lights when it's going off (and most of them do), it could have something to do with it. Is your alarm currently working?
They have finally figure out my problem. It has to do with a circuit relay under the dash on the passenger side. Use a meter to check for continuity on the relay and you'll know which one is out. Replace this relay and everything should work again assuming you don't blow a fuse in your engine bay anymore. Hope this help.K.
the circuit got messed up due to the accident or was it already messed up.....And is the circuit relay visible if i get on the floor of the passenger side...if u know what color and a bit more specific location on where and that the relay looks like that would be crazy help. Thanks man
