Default Tips to driving a manual?

I don't know if this deserves to be here but if a moderator can direct this to the right location please do so (pm me when you re directed my post so i can know where i can find it)

So I have a 2000 Civic ex coupe. I wanna swap it to a manual in the future (as i already got a shift linkage for 30 bucks) Gotta say i was toying around with the shift linkage and it felt good to move through the gears (was having a hard time making it stand in place ) I don:t wanna get to attached to auto because i know ill have that on my mind about just braking and pressing the gas. I also wanna feel her linking to me any tips are fine but what i wanna know is ..

In a d series ex 00 civic ek coupe manual what are the rpms to shift at? what rpms to down shift?

Does it get easy clutching from second to fifth? (meaning if i can clutch a bit faster then starting it up going into first)

when you press the clutch in i hear people say till you feel the "bite" then rev it up to 1500 rpm and slowly let go of the clutch...What do you feel by bite like if its Pushing your leg or not letting you go pass that point?

Can i skip a gear down shifting?

[Clutch in [Keep the clutch in?] - go neutral - slow down - go down to lower gears] to stop slowly ..is that downshifting?

to completely stop , lets say some dude decides to break instantly , Do i clutch in [Keep the clutch in?] - Shift to neutral - brake?

when i reverse do i.. clutch in [Keep the clutch in?] - shift in reverse - gas or no gas? - use brake to go slowly

I think thats all for now might pay someone or find a friend or family member that knows how to drive stick perhaps

This is going to sound like a bad idea but this is how i learned it. Practice on a slight hill. Nothing to crazy like 40%. Try like a 5% grade to learn balance between clutch and gas. If you can do that and keep it from not going forward or reverse to much then you should be good with rolling from a complete stop. For reverse hover over clutch and use gas. When I'm in reverse and not on the gas i keep the clutch engaged. When skipping a gear you can do this. It will mainly be in what rpm range you are in. If you are in normal cruising range (mine is 3500-4000) and you go to skip down it will just go really high into the rev range and might scare you at first. I suggest not doing that until you are proficient in your shifting. For specific rev points I believe it is preference. If I'm not going crazy i shift between 2500-3500 range. But it'll be up to you. The bite is when the pressure plate goes in sync with the

Getting going was the hardest part IMO. I got the hang of it by holding the clutch in and revving to 3k, then I'd let go. This is identical to a launch, but I wouldn't suggest it. It was more like a trial error thing with me. Once I noticed I didn't need to rev that high I started letting go of the clutch smoother, then eventually transferring it with gas.

So it should go clutch in, select gear, slowly release clutch while giving the car gas.

Reverse sounds scary..I heard that reverse for some reason goes fast and I wanna go slow in reverse but how can I?
Also lets say I go in first gear then if I reach 2k or 2500 I go into second then 3k or 3500 third & so on by looking at the rpm? :$
Same goes for down shift say like im in 4th gear at 4000 or 4500 & I wanna lower down I press the clutch shift into neutral put a lil gas and wait till my rpn drops till like 2500 or 2k to shift into second then neutral with clutch down without break? Or with break? & when I reach the bite point thats when I rev to 1500 rpm & slowly release the clutch?
