I want to get a remote key fob for my honda, i was doing research and apparently they came with one from the factory but when i took ownership i did not receive it...

what should i look for to know my honda has the capability of just getting a factory remote fob and just program it.

if my honda does not have the capability from stock for the key fob then what add on systems have you guys used and what experience have you had with them.


lastly if my honda can get a new fob programmed to it then is thier a system where i could have my usual buttons and then and extra one that i hit and all my windows and sun roof will go up.

 

I believe the remote key fob function was built in to the power door lock module for the 99-00 civics. All you would need is the remote and instructions on how to program it. Hopefully Ron is back from vacay and he can chime in.
