Hi, I have a 2000 EX Civic, and my alarm system keeps going off when I open any door. My remote is currently dead and I'm not able to replace it as the company that built it is currently out of business. I've contacted Honda and they said there's nothing they can do unless I want to install a whole new system, is there anything I can do to prevent it from going off everytime I open the door, atleast until I can get enough money for a new alarm system.

i work at a dealership....sounds like some aftermarket bullshit if honda wont help you.... if it were honda genuine parts... we could make it work, especually if it was just a remote....

to fix it... just un-plug your door pin switch... that wont let the car know that the door is being opened... and wont go off
