99 civic lx overheating only when stopped after driving long periods
I've seen this in the threads a couple times but no answers. Ive got a 99 civic lx with a d16y7.manual trans, no cels. When i drive for a while then come to a stop in traffic or at a red light the temp guage goes to a lil over 3/4 never any higher. It just recently started doing it so i want to get the issue fixed as quickly as possible. So far I've replaced all hoses, the radiator, thermostat, both temp sensors, rad cap, fan (which does come on.) I've tried bleeding the system per the instructions in this forum (for nearly two hours, after the fan finally kicked on twice.) And still get constant air bubbles. No milky films in the oil or rad. I know I'm leaking some where just not sure where. I did comp test it ran exactly 190 on all cylinders except #3 which ran 183 (within tolerance) i haven't done a exhaust gas test yet. It's been about a 100k since head gasket timing belt and water pump was done so it's time again but i want to make sure i correct this issue prior (unless one of these is the issue). Any help? And thank you in advance for any help it is greatly appreciated.
I'm not sure exactly it was with previous owner an older gentleman who religously took it to local dealership for services. Plus it has 220xxx miles now. I have a ton of service records.
