Default 99 civic overheating

Hey guys I got a 99 civic with a turboed b18b1 i believe(the ls non vtec one). Just normal driving around town it overheats. I have flushed out the radiator to make sure it not clogged and removed the thermostat to make sure the water pump is working. The fan does kick on and the coolant in the car is new. So looking for some advice on other places to look. And o ya I dont have the heater core hooked up just a bypass hose from the in to out on the engine. Any help would be greatful.

Have you ruled out a blown head gasket?

Quite a few people seem to be running into this issue lately. Try swapping out the fan switch. Since you have taken care of everything else this is one of the last things to check minus the headgasket as stated above. Mine was doing the same thing and flushed the system and swapped thermo and switch and shes good as new.
