been messing with the idea of converting my ej9 d14z2 to d16z6, car is obd2b loom and im aware the z6 was obd1, have a p28 for a z6 and engine waiting if i want it, curious as to what will need to be changed wiring wise and mechanically

Again, not familiar with your engine, but with a rywire harness (or diy, rywire easier/safer) you should be able to bolt it in, swap ecu, plug harness and go. You'll keep obd2 sensors and obd2 engine side. Or you can rip out the harness and use a obd1 harness with obd1 sensors but it's way more work.

The obd 2>1 and 1>2 has been covered 1000s of times, search! Not a lot may be particularly specific to the d14, unless you have a 5 wire o2 or something
