I'm new to the forum. I just purchased a 2005 CR-V 5sp Auto EX with 131,000 miles for my 16 yr old daughter. Unfortunately there are no service records with the vehicle but everything seems to be working fine, drives straight, transmission seems good, AC works, everything in working order. I was told the oil and plugs were recently been changed at 129K but ??? on everything else before that. So with this, what is recommended at 131K taking into consideration limited information on prior service. There is so much to read; do I flush or just drain and replace fluids? I am open to changing all fluids if necessary but would like some advice on what I drain, flush and change. Thanks for your assistance in advance!

PS, there is a slight vibrating sound coming from the muffler on acceleration. I am assuming the muffler needs tightening but not sure.

 

transmission fluid change and diff change is a must the car is known for its tranny problem.

 

3x tranny drain/fill using OEM fluid
Rear diff fluid change
Valve Adjustment
Plugs
PS fluid change OEM fluid
Brake Fluid change
Lube Brake Caliper Pins
Check Air filter
Hope AC doesn't **** the bed
Check for airbag recall

Don't tell her that the front seats fold down to make a bed.
