Clutch engagement insanly high and slips help!
Hi I have a h23 accord and the stock f22 transmission. I have never started this car in a long while but before it never had any clutch issues and now its giving me problems.
The problem is this when i press the clutch all the way to the floor makes a slight noise and it won't go into gear. The funny thing is it does go into gear only if the clutch is pressed but not all the way to the floor and worsly I can even put it into gear without touching the clutch at all without any drop of rpm and doesn't stall lol. Another thing yesterday night it wouldn't drive at all but this morning the car actually moves but at a insanely high engagent and slips but still has the same problem about the clutch not going into gear when the clutch is pressed all the way down.
Does anybody know the problem and is there a solution? Is my clutch gone?.
Much help would be greatly appreciated thanks

If the disc was worn out it would only affect rpm to speed. It would slip or not grab at all.
It should not affect gear engagement unless the clutch is not properly actuating.
Check your clutch master cylinder fluid level is full. Verify there are no leaks in the system, check under the dash where the CMC pushrod passes through the firewall. Look for wetness, with a rag squeeze the dust boot there should be no liquids. If there are then the CMC is leaking and will need to be replaced.
This is usually easy to detect as the clutch pedal will feel funny, it may feel normally but then it may have a higher or lower resistance. Sometimes it may feel like you are stepping on a bouncy ball rather than a pedal.
If the pedal feels fine but has high resistance and hard to change gears, the throw-out bearing may be worn out and need to be replaced.
