After road tripping with the wife and kids this weekend I could tell that my 2000 CRV could use a little extra power. With a car full of people, a cargo basket full of luggage, larger that stock off-road tires, and soon a small lift, I think I could really benefit from a turbo setup. Since we usually use my car for road trips and weekend adventures, I really need to keep the AC.

I am looking for suggestions on turbo setups. I'd like to keep the motor stock. Currently has 118k on the clock and runs just fine. Ideally I think 200-250whp would suit my needs just fine. my initial thoughts were a Greddy kit, but those don't come along as often as they used to, and playing with used parts is always a gamble. My other thought was a log manifold and a t28 turbo with the thought that it would give quick spool and support my power goals.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Specific parts or company suggestions would be great also.

 

stock bb t28 would be nice. most t25 flange manifolds are made ac compatible, 2.5" exhaust would be nice, some 550 injectors, a 255 pump, maybe ls intake if you have the big tall one, stock regulator should be fine and a tuneable ecu. 2.5" piping should be more then enough and id assume most decent intercoolers would work fine.

 

bosch 630cc injector on ebay for 190 i beleave i dont remeber what the smaller ones go for. cx racing(ebay) 2.5 intercooler piping kit and mid size intercooler should work beleave its something like 220 with bov,
