Turbo or N/A?
I have a 97 Civic that I am planning on B20B swapping and I want to build it up a bit. My goal is 250-300 HP as a reliable daily driver. Trying to decide between N/A and Turbo. Which would be cheaper/easier? Which would be more reliable? What would I need to get to my power goal with either setup? Would I need to sleeve the block? Would stock internals handle enough boost to get me to the power goal?
I apologize if this is in the wrong section, I am new here.
Side note: I am leaning more towards turbo, simply because I've never boosted a car.

http://m.ebay.com/itm/B-SERIES-TURBO-TURBOCHARGER-CAST-MANIFOLD-KIT-B16-B18-B20-INTEGRA-DC2-CIVIC-EM1-/150478543521?nav=SEARCH
However I've heard from some of the guys that I work with that eBay turbos are absolute garbage. Anyone have experience with eBay turbos?
Also would stock internals handle enough boost for 250 hp?

Re: Turbo or N/A?
Ebay kit would be ok, but I would get a Pte or garret turbo since they are more reliable.
As for internals. It's not the boost level, it's more of the amount of torque it makes. Just install all the necessary parts correctly and get a proper tune.

yes ebay kits are garbage and a waste of money you will end up buying a quality kit when the ebay kit fails so save yourself the headache and money spent on the ebay kit and get a quality kit off the bat
also turbo will be easier/cheaper, and you dont need to sleeve the block at that power level stock internals will be fine just get a good tuner

Re: Turbo or N/A?
You still need injectors, fuel pump, tuning hardware (hondata s300 or Neptune rtp are good), a good tuner, and possibly a map sensor depending on your boost level.
