Recently bought me a Honda Integra Type R.
This has only driven 150k km and its in mint :D

The car is almost original, but some upgrades has it

Toda header
Testpipe
HKS Super Silence cat back
Mugen filter box

It came with a Hondata not mounted. Wrong OBE, and need som tuning.

I want to replace the following parts:
Suspensjon
brakes
Wheels and tiers
bushes


Need help finding the products that work best.


I'll use the car for track days and Nurburgring.

The first ting I need to buy is a new suspensions.


I have looked at KW V3 and H&R monotube coilovers. What do you recommend?


Is it other kit that is better. I think bang 4 bucket

 

KW V3 is exponentially better than anything from H&R.

I would recommend Koni Race and Ground Control sleeves for the best band for the buck.

 

I've read that the combo is the best bang 4 bucket.

Where is the best place to buy GC?

Is GC TÜV approved?


What springs are best fit for ITR?

 

Koni Yellow and GC is more common than RACE/GC. Koni Races come with no warranty...and they're a bit overkill for a street car.

In either case, I'm not sure Koni/GC would be a TÜV approved setup, as there is easily a chance that the springs would lose contact with the tophat during extension. And they are pieced together kit, sold seperately from 2 different manufacturers.

KW V3's are nice. But very soft. Their advantage is that they're double adjustable. Their disadvantage is that they're double adjustable. ,

H&R (I believe) use Bilstein shocks. In terms of shock quality, Bilstein is better than KW. But...the H&R's are non damper adjustable...and are also extremely soft.

Tein makes a few TÜV approved coilovers. But...all are soft as well lol.

If you're using this car just on the street, save a little money and look at KW V2's....or, if they're available in Europe for the Integra, Bilstein PSS9/10.

For track use, the V3 is advantageous.

Congrats on the purchase. The car looks great. I love the EDM ITR's.

Why is the engine bay black though?

 

The car has a little special story.


The ITR was imported to Norway in 2004 from Switzerland. The don`t use salt on the road at the Winter.


First person in Norway is a very good friend of mine, I was his maid of honor.


The car is original black, but he paid a big price for painting the car to integra phoenix yellow.


The car has never been used in winter in Norway. That meen non rust at all.


I was looking for a trackday car. And Has looked a good while.


When this car appeared for sale at a very good price, I was not in doubt. The car needs new clutch and a few upgrades.

I`m looking for som new wheels and tiers, and I don`t know what I wont.

I have looked on Rota Grid and Rota Fighet in matt Bronze in 7x16 ET45.
I am unsure what wheels I want and need tips
Which dimension is best suited at ITR?

And the biggest thing I`m unsure on is tiers.

The R888s will have the most grip or traction.

You can easily fit 15x8 wheels with 225/45/15 R888s. Offset should be in the +35 range.

A company called 949 Racing makes a wheel called the 6ULR that is well suited to this chassis.

I will not have anny tier scrub whit ET35 and 225 tiers?

Can i use 8X16 ET40 and 215/45-16? I will use it as a trackday car and i will not heaer tierscrub

 

You should not have any inner tire rub with the setup I recommended.

I run the same setup with no issues.

 

15x8 +35 and 225 requires fender work. A roll in the back at the least, and quite a bit of neg camber up front.

If the goal is to keep it TÜV legal, this all may not work.

Also...the sachs clutch is probably a bad idea. Exedy aftermarket clutches (OEM spec or stage 1) are the best aftermarket choices for a B series. Buy genuine honda release and pilot bearings to be safe. Buy Honda ht urea grease also.

 

The offset of wheels you use depends on which requirements you need to meet.

If the car must have the stock amount of camber, then your choices are a bit limited. X7 +45 is about as agressive as I'd suggest.

If you can swap wheels out and re-align the car for inspection time...then your options open up.

 

It will only require fender work if you lower the car an excessive amount or use really soft spring rates.

Considering this thing is being purpose built for the track, I'd say it's unlikely he'll do either of those things.

Idk which one of your posts he'll find helpful. The one where you claim HP+ makes a good street pad...the one where you claim polyurethane bushings are a good idea because you once bought a E36 (???), or the one where you're telling a guy asking about TÜV regulations and marshmallow soft KW coilovers that 15 x 8 +35 with 225 R888 will fit sans fender mods or additonal camber.
