Which is better for a 1.8L manual trans
I've heard both AMSOIL and Redline are good for the 2006 1.8L. Is one really better than the other? I'm planning to do a tranny flush end of this month and wanted to know if either helps smooth out shifting? Are either of these products safe for this trans? The car currently is pushing 177k, and if possible would love to know the benefits of using either over conventional manual tranny oil. Thanks for any help!

I had a issued with my 06 Si with third gear no going in all the way sometimes when I shifted. I tried Amsoil and got rid of the problem, so Amsoil gets a

My only concern trying the AMSOIL is I talked to a guy at Honda and he told me that AMSOIL would ruin my tranny. I also heard that once u start using AMSOIL u have to always use it.
