hey guys have a 93 civic d16z6 1.6l, ive had a pro series manifold & bigger throttle body for awhile now and no throttle cable bracket is really starting to bug me. ive looked around and cant seem to find a bracket suitable for the d16, only b series. Does anyone know what bracket i can use that will hold that cable correctly?

what happened to the cable bracket on the original manifold?

 

oem manifold bracket doesnt fit the s2 mani holes. only one and its bent to hold the cable in place. its just annoying and would like to fix it with the proper piece. just havent been able to find it

 

actually i take that back. its not the bracket thats bent. just a piece of metal however, the stock bracket still never fit to begin with

 

I have a black pro series manifold and 66mm t.b on my z6 94 coupe i use the orginal intake manifold braket but i had to bend it shave a little metal off of a corner amd flip it upside down tho but it works just an idea

thats a great idea. i will have to try that. does your cars idle ever seem weird? or have the pedal stick at all?

When i first did it the rubber grommet on the throttle cable stuck a little nothing to worry about tho.. But mine works great the way i ran it.. Ill see if i have a picture. Not the best pivs but hope hope they help

I know the ITR bracket works on the Skunk2 GS-R manifolds, and I'm pretty sure it also works on the LS Skunk2 manifolds. If The original D16Z6 bracket didn't fit (which incidentally is also the same bracket the D15B7 uses) and I had to take a random guess I'd try a P73 ITR bracket. Just so you know those brackets are only $13 at full list price from the dealer. Part number 16411-P73-000
